What is SN500 Base Oil?

SN500 is a Group I paraffinic base oil produced through solvent refining and dewaxing of crude oil. It has a higher viscosity compared to lighter grades such as SN150 and SN300, making it suitable for applications that require stronger film strength and better load-carrying capability.

Due to its balanced performance and cost-effectiveness, SN500 is widely used in the formulation of industrial lubricants and heavy-duty engine oils.
